CW is an environmental awareness and action project by Work for Better Society (WBS) & Center for Global Environment & Development (CGED) focused on reducing plastic waste in Bangladesh. The project aims to engage communities, educational institutions, and local businesses in reducing single-use plastics, promoting sustainable alternatives, and fostering a cleaner environment. This aligns with WBS’s commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).











Objectives
- Reduce Plastic Use: Raise awareness about the environmental impacts of plastic and promote alternatives to single-use plastics.
- Encourage Sustainable Practices: Collaborate with schools, communities, and businesses to implement eco-friendly practices and reduce plastic waste.
- Clean-Up Drives: Organize regular clean-up events in urban and coastal areas to prevent plastic pollution.
- Educational Outreach: Conduct workshops in schools and communities to educate about waste management, recycling, and sustainable consumption.
Donation Form
BIDYASOVA is a school in Dhaka that aims to educate children from disadvantaged backgrounds. For kids from low-income homes who might not otherwise have access to formal schooling, it acts as a ray of hope.
